What have others said about his fire alarm classes?

Anonymous class review questioner have been passed out at the end of EVERY class held by Mr. Kessinger, and has averaged over 9, on a scale of 1 through 10.     Common remarks range from "very informative" to "very entertaining".

Companies and state associations that have used other outside associations and trainers, drop them in favor of Mr. Kessinger's classes.

Comment in New Jersey class:  "I've just returned from a four day NFPA seminar and we have covered more material in this (Mr. Kessinger's) class in two days then I did in four days of theirs!"

"I've been to XXXX (a fire alarm association) classes in the past, and have learned more in one day than I did in all of their classes put together and  I was never bored!"

"The best class, on ANY subject I've been to in years." - a building inspector

In the complaints column:   The room is "too hot" or "too cold"  followed by those that would like a third day added to class length!   Now what other instructor is this honest?

Mr. Kessinger still chair of the NBFAA's Fire & Life-Safety Committee.

In July 2002, Cecil Hogan, the new President of the NBFAA, asked Greg Kessinger if he would take over as the head of the NBFAA's Fire Section.   Mr. Hogan explained that Greg was his first and only choice for the position.  Greg Kessinger  accepted, and presided over his first meeting August 26th at the NBFAA annual meeting.  The meeting was held across the river from New York City, and was well attended.  Almost 23 people volunteered to help accomplish the goals set by the Fire Section for it's various committees.  If there is a fire alarm issue you would like to bring to the attention of the Fire Section, or if you wish to get involved in the NBFAA,  please e-mail Greg at firealarm_911@hotmail.com

Mr. Kessinger has been asked to remain in this position for three successive NBFAA  presidential terms.   He vows to step down soon so another can take the reigns!

Something you may wish to get involved in, is the drafting of a white-paper explaining the misunderstandings created when our trade is described as a "voltage".   We are not simply "low voltage" contractors.  We are trained in the art and science of fire alarm detection, and simply because you are licensed to wire a commercial building, does not make you a qualified fire alarm installer or fire alarm system designer.

Other draft papers include the 'need' for fire alarm system certification by third parties.
