The White Tag:
In a nutshell...
 | Each Compliance Package include a square white sticker.
|
 | This adhesive label is completed by the alarm company for each
installation. |
 | The information shown on the white tag is required by NFPA 72.
|
 | NFPA 72 is required by the International Fire Code, International
Building Code, Ohio Fire Code and the Ohio Building Code. |
 | Simply use the white label to help you comply with the existing fire
code rules. |
The Green Tag:
In a nutshell...
 | Each Compliance Package include a green sticker. |
 | This adhesive-backed tag is completed and affixed by the alarm company
whenever service is performed. |
 | The information shown on the green tag is not required, but used to
show the inspector, at a glance, the system is no longer impaired.
It can be covered with the red or yellow sticker to indicate a problem with the
system. When the red or yellow sticker no longer applies, don't
scrape it off, use the green sticker to cover it up. This way, the
building owner cannot simply remove an impairment sticker them self. |
